Employers today rely heavily on the resume that demonstrates relevant work experience. Practical work experience is vital when you attempt to venture into the job market. If you’re looking to build your resume by gaining some experience, working as an intern is unarguably the best option! The Pedagoge internship program lets you gain first-hand experience in modern business practices and skills. You also get the chance to practice or observe current technology, teamwork, cooperation and basic business decorum.
The internship programme provides an excellent opportunity for you to view the myriad possibilities within each career field; discern your future goals; and learn what skills, knowledge, and education are necessary for the career you want to embark upon.
Let’s see what few of our recent interns have to say about their internship experience.
Alabhaya is a tech intern at Pedagoge, he is currently pursuing his BTech in Computer Science at KIIT University. He applied through the Internship Camp organised by KIIT Entrepreneurship Cell. Let’s take a look at his experience:
“Pedagoge, pretty interesting name right? So is the place from the very first day. I was given a pretty challenging task soon after joining office. Even though I was stuck with it for 4 days, the learning began then and there itself. Handling small issues like changing database structures to major issues like fixing internet has been a part of my job role. Hence, to sum it all up, it was 2 months of challenges which tested me as a person, 2 months with awesome new people, 2 months full of learning and 2 months of awesomeness !!”
Karina is a BBA student at Brock University, Canada. Karina applied for the internship through Internshala.
Here’s what she has to share about her experience:
“It’s a rarity to come across people who can become close friends within a few days. It’s even more uncommon for those friends to give you important life lessons and make you want to come to work every day. Pedagoge provided me with an extended family of sorts. From the intense work sessions to questionable games of taboo, the memories I made here are priceless. The work itself provides a lot of scope for versatility which was a boon for someone like me who was clueless about her career plans. To top that, mistakes are not frowned upon but used as stepping stones to success. With that, I bid this amazing team a bittersweet farewell!
It’s been a “khatarnaak” journey!”
Pranay is a Bcom student at St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata.
Here’s what he experienced:
“Working with Pedagoge has been a wonderful journey. I got to know about Pedagoge through a friend who worked here an intern before. Over the span of my 4 months internship here, I got to learn a lot things which will surely help me in the future. My work included pitching Pedagoge to the teachers and creating their profiles online. I learnt how to convince people and time management. I also faced challenges from achieving goals to saving Tiffin till the lunch break. I have good memories here and my colleagues have become a family, so I hope to come back soon and wish Pedagoge loads of success”.

“ A journey of 2 months; a lifetime of memories. Pedagoge was indeed a memorable and well-cherished experience. Getting a glimpse of the startup world and getting in the shoes of a not so average corporate guy was indeed a great feeling. My colleagues and team leaders were more than helpful in this journey. Pedagoge is a conglomeration of people from different paths of life, from rappers to bodybuilders, working together for a common motive. Thank you Pedagoge.”
Jayesh is currently pursuing B.Com from St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata.
“I joined Pedagoge as a Student Ambassador but then I was selected as an intern. Initially I was a bit nervous since it was my first Internship. I never thought that working with this company will become so much fun. Here at Pedagoge, I made a lot of friends. I also got to learn new things like Advance Excel, developed my communication skills and with that I overcame my fear of public speaking which will be of great help in future. I will always cherish the moments and will miss the friendly environment at Pedagoge. Lastly, as the motto says STAY HUMBLE, HUSTLE HARD”.

In the process, I also made many great friends. At Pedagoge, I also gained important communication skills and learnt to deal with rejection without feeling bad about it. Working under the guidance of Rohit Sir and my team leaders the workplace was fun and interesting. Pedagoge will be missed. Here’s wishing the Pedagoge team, a great journey ahead!!”

“Well, my internship of two months at Pedagoge started in the first week of May. Initially, I joined as a Business development and operations intern but then gradually I was given a chance to work with the marketing team, creative and content writing team. Pedagoge has helped me grow both personally and professionally.Everyone here is immensely talented and I have managed to learn something or the other from everyone.Through this internship, I got a complete idea of how a startup works. I got to know about the functioning of various departments. I learnt to take responsibilities and manage my time. It taught me to handle customers and deal with rejections as well.
