Houston, Tranquillity Base here. The Eagle has landed.
That’s one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind.

We are getting ready to come out of our cocoon and step into the big bright world, thus, this blog.
As students, we often faced the problem of trying to find the right kind of teacher for our learning needs, ranging from IIT coaching and Maths tuition to guitar and bakery lessons. What if we can provide a helping hand and make it easier to find the right kind of teachers? What if we believe that there is never just one best teacher for anything? What if we can help you get the best teacher based on your specific needs? These were some of the burning questions we asked ourselves answers to along with a desire to make life easier for our fellow students that led to the inception of Pedagoge.
Pedagoge is an e-commerce platform where students can search and connect with private teachers, institutions and find workshops (both academic & non-academic), based on individual needs. We have reviews and recommendations sourced from an organically built, trusted community of students and teachers to facilitate well informed decisions when choosing a learning experience.
We have taken it upon ourselves to build an intuitive, easy to use online platform that allows students to find potential teachers based on multiple criteria such as location, recommendations and price and tailor their search to their individual needs. Our aim is to make it easy for current and future generations of students, to be able to learn from the kind of teacher they want and the way they want it. Our eventual aim is to make Pedagoge a one-stop shop for all your coaching needs – whether you just have some free time on your hand and want to learn something interesting and unique, or if you desperately need a tutor for the upcoming exams! We want you to use Pedagoge as a medium not only to provide a shopping list of teachers but also a way to connect with our student and teacher audience and build trust around the experience. We want to create a world of improved learning experiences and this for us will be a small step in the right direction!
We want to use this blog as an opportunity to create relevant content for the education and coaching industry. The blog will feature general industry and market trends and analysis along with expert blog posts from teachers in different areas of the industry, who will talk about their experiences and share their knowledge. The plan is to keep things interesting and to keep you engaged. And yeah, we don’t like extremely long articles as well so we’ll keep it short and to the point!
As we start out into the unchartered waters of maintaining a blog, we ask you to reach out to us if you have any comments or questions at any time by writing to us at firstname.lastname@example.org. If you want to talk to one of us about our plans for the future, give us some feedback or would just like to say hello, feel free to hit us up.
